Subject: Found Italian Greyhound
I'm contacting the kennel clubs in the area to see if someone has reported a lost male Italian Greyhound/Whippet. He was found 3/26/2010 at the Northwood Golf Course on Champion St in Champion. He is a red and white parti. I'm trying to get this out to as many people as possible so that he may find his way back home.

The Mahoning Shenango Kennel Club is accepting new members. We are looking for "Dog people" willing to help promote the AKC dog events, community projects and the club's mission statement.

MAHONING SHENANGO KENNEL CLUB CANINE COMMUNITY OUTREACH

THE MAHONING SHENANGO KENNEL CLUB IS DEDICATED TO HELPING THE SURROUNDING CANINE COMMUNITY IN VARIOUS WAYS WHEN POSSIBLE

●March 2010: The MSKC donated $500.00 to the Trumbull County Animal Welfare League to help with the large number of dogs they were caring for.

●Summer 2009: The Mahoning Shenango Kennel Club donated $1,000.00 worth of dog food (with matching funds from OHIO PET FOODS) to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank. Families are suffering from financial hardship right now. Many need help with their pets. The MSKC hopes this donation can help prevent dogs from being abandoned or sent to a shelter because the family could not afford dog food. THANK YOU OHIO PET FOOD INC. OF LISBON OHIO FOR YOUR CARING GIFT!

We are looking for members that would like to contribute more information, photos and dog info for our website. Our website has already had over 6,000 hits in it's first year! A Tribute To Betty Crawford

With great sadness, we announce the loss of one of our most respected and knowledgeable individuals in the dog show community.

BETTY CRAWFORD passed away on February 27th, 2010 at the age of 91.

Betty was a Judge for the American Kennel Club, a former professional handler, a groomer and bred her line of Irish Setters, (including a Best In Show Dog) "Shannon Irish Setters". She was an active member and officer of The Mahoning Shenango Kennel Club for many years. From selling catalogs at shows, to offering her expert advise to fellow club members, she was always there when needed. She will be greatly missed. Betty is pictured below after judging in the Weimaraner ring.

All clothing items will also have the phrase, "More Than A Dog Show... It's An EVENT!" on the back.

The initial order is for members of the four individual kennel clubs ONLY! Anyone wishing to place an order in the initial shipment must return the order form with payment by May 1st. Checks should be made payable to “Steel Valley Cluster”.
